Mengajarkan berhitung kepada anak itu baik, tetapi mengajarkan keutamaan kepada anak adalah yang terbaik. Dua kata kunci utama dari kutipan tersebut adalah berhitung yang merujuk kepada kompetensi atau keterampilan dan keutamaan yang merujuk kepada akhlak atau karakter mulia pada diri murid. Guru sebagai pengajar alangkah baiknya mengajarkan kepada murid-murid kompetensi atau keterampilan yang mereka butuhkan dalam kehidupan nyata. Namun, yang paling utama bagi guru adalah harus mendidik murid-murid dengan nilai-nilai utama yang membentuk karakter yang diperlukan dalam menjalani kehidupan secara bertanggung jawab. Dengan dua bekal kompetensi dan nilai-nilai utama yang tertanam dalam setiap pribadi murid, diharapkan kelak mereka akan tumbuh menjadi generasi yang memiliki profil pelajar Pancasila.
Profil Pelajar Pancasila: Apa dan Mengapa?
Kita sudah sering mendengar kata profil pelajar Pancasila, namun sebenarnya apa yang dimaksud dengan profil pelajar Pancasila? Mengapa profil pelajar Pancasila itu penting bagi pelajar? Mari kita simak ulasan berikut.
Murid yang memiliki profil pelajar Pancasila berperilaku sebagai pribadi yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berakhlak mulia, berkebhinekaan global, bergotong royong, kreatif , bernalar kritis, dan mandiri.
Pelajar Indonesia yang berakhlak mulia memiliki hubungan yang baik secara vertikal kepada Tuhan dan hubungan yang baik secara horizontal dengan sesama ciptaan Tuhan (yaitu sesama manusia, hewan, tumbuhan, dan alam). Akhlak mulia tersebut merupakan wujud dari keimanan dan ketakwaan terhadap Tuhan. Murid yang beriman kepada Tuhan percaya bahwa Tuhan itu ada. Dengan tumbuhnya keimanan pada diri murid akan tumbuh ketakwaaan kepada Tuhan, yaitu menjalankan semua perintah dan menjauhi segala larangan-Nya. Elemen kunci dari beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berakhlak mulia dengan demikian terdiri dari lima hal, yaitu akhlak beragama, akhlak pribadi, akhlak kepada manusia, akhlak kepada alam, dan akhlak dalam bernegara.
Pelajar yang berkebhinekaan global mempertahankan budaya luhur, lokalitas, dan identitasnya, namun tetap berpikiran terbuka dalam berinteraksi dengan budaya lain sehingga menumbuhkan rasa saling menghargai. Dengan rasa saling menghargai memungkinkan akan terbentuk budaya baru yang positif dan tidak bertentangan dengan budaya luhur bangsa. Elemen kunci dari berkebinekaan global adalah (1) mengenal dan menghargai budaya, (2) mampu berkomunikasi intercultural dalam berinteraksi dengan sesama, dan (3) reflektif dan bertanggung jawab terhadap pengalaman kebhinekaannya.
Pelajar yang memiliki kemampuan gotong royong mampu melakukan kegiatan secara bersama-sama dengan suka rela agar kegiatan dapat berjalan dengan lancar, mudah dan ringan. Dengan kemampuan gotong royong, pelajar akan maju bersama dengan saling membantu agar semua dapat memberikan yang terbaik bagi dirinya sendiri, masyarakat, nusa, dan bangsa bahkan sebagai warga dunia. Dengan gotong royong, tidak akan ada kompetisi, terutama kompetisi yang tidak sehat yaitu ingin menjadi pemenang atau yang terbaik dengan menjatuhkan pihak lain sehingga akan timbul ketegangan, ketidakrukunan, konflik antar individu/ kelompok masyarakat/ bangsa. Elemen kunci gotong royong adalah (1) kolaborasi, (2) kepedulian dan (3) berbagi.
Pelajar yang mandiri adalah pelajar yang bertanggung jawab atas proses dan hasil belajarnya. Pelajar yang mandiri akan berusaha sebaik mungkin dalam setiap proses belajarnya sehingga hasil belajar yang diperoleh adalah yang terbaik bagi dirinya sendiri, keluarga, masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara maupun sebagai warga dunia. Elemen kunci dari mandiri adalah (1) kesadaran akan diri dan situasi yang dihadapi dan (2) regulasi diri.
Pelajar yang bernalar kritis mampu secara obyektif memroses informasi baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif, membangun keterkaitan antara berbagai informasi, menganalisis informasi, mengevauasi dan menyimpulkannya. Dengan bernalar kritis, pelajar akan mampu membedakan mana yang baik dan mana yang tidak baik, mana yang berguna dan mana yang tidak berguna sehingga akan melakukan hal yang baik dan bermanfaat bagi dirinya sendiri, keluarga, masyarakat, bangsa, negara, dan dunia. Elemen kunci bernalar kritis adalah (1) memperoleh dan memproses informasi dan gagasan, (2) menganlisis dan mengevaluasi penaalran, (3) merefleksi pemikiran dan proses berpikir, dan (4) mengambil keputusan.
Pelajar kreatif adalah pelajar yang mampu memodifikasi dan menghasilkan sesuatu yang orisinil, bermakna, bermanfaat, dan berdampak. Dengan kreativitas, pelajar akan mampu menghasilkan gagasan-gagasan baru yang orisinal serta menghasilakan Tindakan atau karya orisinal yang memiliki arti penting atau manfaat dan membawa dampak yang positif bagi diri sendiri, keluarga, masyarakat, bangsa, negara, dan dunia. Elemen kunci dari kreatif adalah (1) menghasilkan gagasan orisinil dan (2) menghasilkan karya dan tindakan orisinal.
Singaktnya, dengan profil pelajar Pancasila, diharapkan pelajar akan mampu melakukan yang terbaik dan memberikan yang terbaik dan dapt dipertanggungjawabakan secara moral untuk diri sendiri, keluarga, masyarakat, bangsa, negara, dan dunia.
Pratap Triloka dalam Pengambilan Keputusan untuk Mewujudkan Profil Pelajar Pancasila
Mewujudkan profil pelajar Pancasila merupakan salah satu peran guru sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran. Sudah selayaknya seorang guru harus mampu menjadi pemimpin pembelajaran agar terwujud generasi unggul yang memiliki keimanan dan ketakwaan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berakhlak mulia, berkebhinekaan global, bergotong royong, mandiri, bernalar kritis, dan kreatif. Sebagai seorang pemimpin pembelajaran, guru harus mampu menerapkan Pratap triloka Ki Hajar Dewantara.
Pratap triloka terdiri atas tiga semboyan, yaitu ing ngarsa sung tuladha, ing madya mangun karsa, dan tut wuri handayani. Guru sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran harus mampu memberikan tauladan atau contoh bagi murid, memberikan motivasi, dan mampu memberikan dukungan kepada murid agar menjadi pelajar yang memiliki profil pelajar Pancasila.
Guru sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran harus mampu mengambil keputusan-keputusan yang dapat menjadi tauladan, motivasi, dan dukungan kepada murid dalam mewujudkan profil pelajar Pancasila dalam diri setiap murid. Ketika guru menghadapi dilema etika, nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam profil pelajar Pancasila hendaknya menjadi dasar acuan dalam pengambilan keputusan. Apakah keputusan yang diambil sesuai dengan nilai-nilai yang tercermin dalam profil pelajar Pancasila atau tidak. Apakah hasil yang dicapai dari keputusan tersebut bermanfaat dan berdampak positif terhadap penanaman/ penumbuhan karakter yang mencerminkan profil pelajar Pancasila atau tidak.
Berikut adalah contoh dilemma etika dan bagaimana Pratap triloka dapat diterapkan dalam proses pengambilan keputusan.
Setiap akhir semester pada saat membuat laporan hasil belajar atau rapor, kepala sekolah selalu meminta agar semua siswa diberi nilai minimal 80 untuk kelas VII, 82 untuk kelas VIII dan 84 untuk kelas IX. Tujuannya adalah agar siswa memiliki nilai rapor yang baik agar dapat melanjutkan ke jenjang sekolah menengah atas yang baik. Situasi menjadi sulit ketika harus memberi nilai minimal 80 padahal siswa tersebut tingkat kehadirannya kurang dari 75% dan seringkali tidak mengerjakan tugas maupun mengikuti penilan harian atau ulangan. Saya sebagai guru merasakan bahwa situasi tersebut sungat sulit untuk membuat keputusan. Saya sebenanrnya sangat tidak setuju dengan kebijakan sekolah karena ketika siswa memiliki tingkat kehadiran rendah dan sering tidak mengerjakan tugas atau mengikuti ulangan dan tiba-tiba mendapat nilai rapor di atas 80 yang akan terjadi adalah siswa akan menganggap bahwa sekolah tidak perlu capek-capek belajar atau berangkat sekolah karena pasti akan diberi nilai rapor yang bagus. Ketika siswa berpikir demikian, maka siswa tidak akan berpikir untuk mengubah kebiasaan buruknya. Sebaliknya, jika saya memberikan nilai jelek di bawah 80, maka siswa akan kehilangan kesempatan untuk mendapatkan sekolah yang baik. Selain itu, saya akan dicap sebagai guru yang tidak taat terhadap kebijakan sekolah. Saya merasa tidak enak terhadap kepala sekolah dan rekan sejawat. Dalam situasi ini, tentu saya berhadapan pada dua situasi yang sama-sama benar. Saya mengikuti kebijakan kepala sekolah adalah keputusan yang benar, tetapi jika saya menolak kebijakan kepala sekolah juga benar. Jika saya memberikan nilai baik pada siswa tersebut, siswa akan diuntungkan dalam jangka pendek tetapi akan dirugikan dalam jangka panjang karena kemungkinan siswa menjadi terbiasa dengan belajar semaunya karena yakin gurunya akan tetap memberikan nilai baik tanpa bersusah-susah belajar dan mengikuti pelajaran.
Dari dilemma etika di atas, saya dapat menerapkan Pratap triloka dalam pengambilan keputusan. Langkah pertama adalah dengan menganalisis empat paradigma (individu lawan masyarakat, kebenaran lawan kesetiaan, keadilan lawan belas kasihan, dan jangka Pendek lawan jangka Panjang). Dari empat paradigma, saya akan menerapkan paradigma jangka pendek dan jangka Panjang. Jika saya memutuskan untuk memberikan nilai bagus bagi siswa yang sering alpa dan tidak mengerjakan tugas maka secara tidak langsung saya telah memberikan keteladanan, motivasi, dan dukungan kepada murid saya untuk tidak usah bersusah payah mengikuti pelajaran dan mengerjakan tugas untuk mendapatkan nilai baik. Dampak jangka Panjang dari keputusan saya tersebut adalah akan terbentuk karakter siswa yang tidak mandiri, yaitu tidak munculnya kesadaran dari diri pribadi murid saya untuk belajar dengan sungguh-sungguh untuk mendapatkan hasil yang bagus. Dengan kata lain, keputusan saya untuk jangka Panjang bertentangan dengan nilai yang saya Yakini bahwa sebagai seorang guru saya harus mampu mewujudkan kemandirian pada siswa saya sebagai salah satu profil pelajar Pancasila. Paradigma kedua yang saya gunakan adalah keadilan lawan belas kasihan. Saya memberikan nilai bagus kepada siswa tersebut karena kasihan jika siswa tersebut tidak dapat melanjutkan ke sekolah yang bagus, namun di pihak lain saya telah bertindak tidak adil kepada siswa lain yang sungguh-sungguh mengikuti pelajaran dan mengerjakan tugas. Secara tidak langsung saya telah memberikan contoh, motivasi dan dukungan kepada ssiwa saya tersebut untuk berperilaku tidak adil kepada orang lain.
Langkah berikutnya saya menganalisis tiga prinsip (berpikir berbasis hasil akhir, berpikir berbasis peraturan, dan berpikir berbasis rasa peduli). Jika saya menganalisis berdasarkan prinsip berpikir berbasis peraturan, maka keputusan saya untuk memberikan nilai bagus terhadap siswa saya tersebut secara tidak langsung saya telah memberikan keteladanan, motivasi dan dukungan kepada siswa saya untuk melanggar peraturan. Mengapa demikian? Karena sejak awal tahun pelajaran baru sekolah saya telah menyosialisasikan peraturan akademik yang menyebutkan bahwa kehadiaran siswa minimal 95% dan nilai penilaian harian diperoleh dari 2 X nilai harian ditambah nilai tugas dibagi 3.
Dari pembahasan di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pratap triloka dapat mempengaruhi seorang guru dalam pengambilan keputusan sebagai seorang pemimpin pembelajaran dalam mewujudkan profil pelajar Pancasila. Oleh karena itu, disarankan bagi para guru agar menerapkan Pratap triloka dalam pengambilan keputusan sehingga profil pelajar Pancasila dapat terwujud.
